Description
This is one of the most versatile magnets available – Unlike our separate North and South faced countersunk magnets. This magnet is countersunk on BOTH sides!
So to match a north and south face, you just need to flip one of the magnets.
Features:
– Countersunk on both sides
– Pairs with another identical magnet by simply reversing one of the magnets.
– Specifically sized with countersunk hole 5mm, to be used with flat head screws or bolts (max head width 8mm)
– Powerful Rare Earth (Neodymium) permanent magnet
– High gloss Nickel coating, for protection against corrosion
– Maximum operating temperature 80°C / 100°C
Dimensions: Ø 22mm (Outer diameter) x 8mm (Thickness), Ø 5mm (Internal countersunk hole diameter) The dimensions of the product are measured in metric units, with an approximate “tolerance” (manufacturing margin of error) of +/- 0.05mm
Pull Strength: Approx 11kg
The approximate force (in metric units) required to remove a magnet from industry-standard 3mm thick mild steel. These “strengths” are measured using mathematical calculations, and should be used as a general guide only.
Direction of Magnetism: “Axially”
Magnetised (top to bottom) thru 8mm thickness. The axis through which a product is magnetised.
Gauss: Approx 2000
A measurement of surface “magnetic induction” (B), equal to one ten-thousandth of a Tesla. Gauss indicates the number of lines of magnetic flux per square centimetre, under the CGS metric system.
